Updating Your Payment Information

To change your Payment information or Payment method, please visit your Dashboard here (Dashboard > Payment Information).  At the bottom of that screen there will be an "Edit" button.

The payment provider will first ask you to confirm that the name and address we have on file is accurate.  Once that is correct, hit "Next."



On the next screen, you will select your payment method and currency.

The available payment methods will vary depending on your location.  Some options include:

  • Paypal: Available everywhere Paypal is supported
  • Direct Deposit/ACH: Bank payments for US residents
  • eCheck / Local bank transfer: Payment in your local currency for international residents.  Please note that this option is not available for all currencies.
  • Wire transfer: Wired bank payments for international residents.  Wire payments have a $1000 USD minimum payment, and if selected your payments will be held in the system until this threshold is reached.

International residents being paid in their local currency can see the currency conversion fee on this screen, noted as the "FX fee."


After payment information is set up, you may be asked to complete a tax form.  You can read more on this process on our Tax Forms article.


Additionally, please note that changes to payment information must be completed at minimum several days in advance of payments going out, due to processing times.  To ensure your changes are effective for the upcoming payment date, please input changes as early in the month as possible.  Changes made after payments have begun processing will be effective the following month.  If a payment fails, a reissue can be ordered.
